Peretz Arad Ester
Esther Peretz- Arad (1937-2005) was an Israeli painter, sculptor and draftsman.
Born in Bulgaria, she immigrated to Israel at an early age. She studied painting under Aharon Avni, who founded several art schools during the 1920’s and 1930’s, including the Anvi Institute.
Peretz- Arad is mostly known for her drawings.
During the years of her creation, she experimented with various medium such as oil, lithography, sculpture, etching and calligraphy.
Her style is mainly figurative, characterized by the quality of line, areas, flow and composition.
Peretz- Arad has exhibited extensively in Israel and abroad, her works can be found in many collections all around the globe.
