ITZU RIMMER

Itzu Rimmer was born in Israel in 1948. In the years 1971-1972 he attended the Harrow College of Art in London after which he continued his studied in the famed Central St. Martin School in the years 1973-1976 and at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, obtaining a BFA.
Rimmer held a teaching position at the Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel. In the years 1986-1988 he was the head of the Art department in Meimad School in Tel Aviv.
In 1977 Rimmer won the America- Israel Cultural Foundation prize and in 1978 he won the first place at the Biennale for Young Artists in Safed.
