AHARON MESSEG
Aharon Messeg was born in Baghdad, Iraq, in 1942 and immigrated with his family to Israel in 1951.He started painting as a young boy and had his first solo exhibition in 1967 and since has had many one-man shows, both in Israel and abroad.He is married to the poet Sabina Messeg and has had a long association with Clil. Messeg lives permanently in Israel since 1995 and is one of Israel’s leading painters.His painting style is a fusion of elements taken from both inner and outer landscape.
